The Catholicate College Alumni was formally inaugurated by H.G. Kuriakose Mar Clemis, Metropolitan of Sultan Bethery Diocese of Malankara Orthodox Church of India at a function organized for the purpose of formally setting up an association of the old students of Catholicate College Pathanamthitta, who have settled in and around the emirate of Dubai, at the Royal Abjar Hotel, Dubai on the 29th of December 1996. Establishment of the association was the culmination of a long cherished desire of the prominent members of the old students community of the college in Dubai.
